Abbie & Sam - LEEDS TATTOO EXPO collaboration print

Sam and I were commissioned last year to create the advertising poster for the upcoming LeedsTattooExpo celebrating its 10th anniversary.
As artists both based in Leeds, we felt honoured and chose to create something where we could both play to our strengths. Sam chose to design and hand-carve a woodcut border to print on fabric for textural contrast. This surrounds my hand-painted floral garden peacock using pencil, ink and acrylics.
The only specification, set by the mother of this event, was one of Sylvia’s favourite birds the peacock! 🦚 A4 & A3 available.
